THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No. 6615 of 2016 ORDER:- This writ petition is similar to the one considered and disposed of by this Court in W.P.No.2468 of 2015, which was filed by some of the petitioners similarly situated as petitioners herein. On noticing that the Government passed a resumption order as early as on 29.12.2014, the said writ petition was disposed of granting liberty to the petitioners therein to avail remedies under law.

In the present case also though petitioners state that they have no notice, no opportunity, and no order of resumption is served on them, instructions of the learned Government Pleader show that notices were served by annexure and the resumption order was passed on 29.12.2014. Hence, petitioners are free to apply and obtain copy of the resumption order and avail the remedy under law, as already directed by this Court in the aforesaid writ petition viz., W.P.No.2468 of 2015 dated 23.02.2016 referred to above. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. In the meanwhile, since the land is examined and kept in Government custody, it shall not be alienated or assigned to anybody else for a period of four weeks within which time petitioners to avail appropriate remedy under law and seek appropriate interim orders from the authority concerned.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
