The grievance of the petitioner was that the Joint Collector and Licensing Authority, Krishna, Machilipatnam, the second respondent, was not granting permission for change of name of the theatre and its Managing Partner in the B-form licence. The petitioner's application dated 10.10.2014 in this regard is still awaiting consideration before the second respondent.

2. In that view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition and adjudicate the same on merits as the authority concerned is yet to apply its mind and take a decision.

3. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 10.10.2014 in accordance with law and pass appropriate reasoned orders thereon. This

exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
