When the matter came up for hearing on 22.09.2017, the learned counsel for the petitioner called absent and there was no representation on his behalf. Hence, in the interest of justice, to avoid passing of any adverse orders, the matter was posted to today. Today also when the matter is called, in spite of giving opportunity, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, which clearly establishes that the petitioner is not acting diligently and that he is not interested in pursuing the petition.

Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. As a sequel to it, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
