O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not sanctioning the Marriage Loan to the petitioner in terms of his application dated 06.02.2002, as illegal and arbitrary and for a consequential direction to the respondents to sanction the Loan. Heard Sri N.Vasudeva Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing counsel for the respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication and has become infructuous, as the petitioner has retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation. Recording the aforesaid submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
