Heard Sri P.Govinda Rajulu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri B.Mayur Reddy, learned Standing counsel for the respondents. With the consent of learned counsel for the respective parties, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

This Writ Petition is filed for the following relief: ".........Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents herein in not implementing the orders of this Hon'ble Court in W.P.No.22479 of 2006, dated 01.11.2006, as illegal, arbitrary, contrary to law and set aside the same and further direct the respondents herein to implement the orders of this Hon'ble Court with all consequential benefits including payment of arrears on re-fixation of pay and pass such other order or orders....."

It has been contended by the petitioner that he has filed W.P.No.22479 of 2006 and this Court vide order dated 01.11.2006 disposed of the said writ petition directing the respondents to dispose of the appeal dated 10.05.2002, preferred by the petitioner against the order dated 10.12.1997 passed by the 3rd respondent-Depot Manager. The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that inspite of lapse of 11⁄2 decade, the respondents have not disposed of the appeal preferred by the petitioner.

Therefore, learned counsel for the petitioner contends that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the

respondents to comply with the orders dated 01.11.2006 passed in W.P.No.22479 of 2006.

Learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents contends that the case of the petitioner would be considered and the orders dated 01.11.2006 passed in W.P.No.22479 of 2006 would be complied with, if not already complied. This Court, having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to comply with the orders dated 01.11.2006 passed in W.P.No.22479 of 2006, if not already complied with, within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
