HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.25979 OF 2013 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed to declare the action of the respondent Nos.1 and 2 in expelling the petitioner from the final examination of 1st year B.Tech of EEE branch conducted in May/June 2013 and cancelling his performance in all the subjects, including practical and project work and debarring the petitioner for two consecutive semesters from class work and all university examination through the impugned proceedings, as being illegal and in violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India.
Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the JNTU and the respondents 3 and 4 have remained unrepresented.
It is stated by the Learned Standing Counsel for the 1st respondent University that pursuant to the interim orders granted by this Court, the petitioner was allowed to take further examinations and the petitioner has completed the engineering course, and on 30.12.2016, a consolidated marks memo and transfer certificate has been issued to the petitioner, and the original certificates have also been issued on 14.09.2017. He would further submit that having regard to the fact that the petitioner has completed the B.Tech course in
EEE branch, the University at this stage would not dispute or disturb the degree awarded to the petitioner Recording the said submission on behalf of the University, this Court is of the view no further orders need be passed in this Writ Petition.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
