W.P.No.30520/2016 THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V. RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND THE HON'BLE MRS JUSTICE ANIS WRIT PETITION No.30520 of 2016 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice V. Ramasubramanian) The petitioner both of whose parents hail from a town known as Nidadavole in A.P., but who had to study in different parts of the country on account of her father being employed in a Central Government undertaking, has come up with the present writ petition, seeking a Mandamus to grant her local status in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

Heard Mr. S. Sriram, learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr. Taddi Nageswara Rao, learned counsel takes notice for the 4th respondent-university and learned Government Pleader Medical and Health takes notice for respondents 1 to 3.

There is no doubt about the fact that the petitioner's parents hail from Andhra Pradesh. The petitioner herself was a student of the Hyderabad Public School, Kadapa during the period from 2008 to 2012 and from 2014 to 2016. Therefore, as per the decision that we have rendered in W.P.No.29133 of 2016 dated 30.08.2016, the petitioner is entitled to be considered as local candidate. Therefore, the writ petition is allowed directing the respondents to consider the petitioner as local candidate, in terms of G.O.Ms.No.132, dated 06.06.2016 and Circular Memo dated 08.08.2016. The petitioner shall comply with the requirements of Para-4D of the Circular Memo dated 08.08.2016. There shall be no order as to costs.
