HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.34603 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to respondents Nos.3 and 4 to register the FIR on the complaint of the petitioner dated 15.9.2016 and to take appropriate action against the accused.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

The main grievance of the petitioner is that respondents Nos.3 and 4 have not registered any FIR on her complaint in spite of the said complaint discloses cognizable offence against the accused. 4.

Considering the circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction:

"Respondents Nos.3 and 4 are directed to register the FIR on the complaint of the petitioner dated 15.9.2016, if it discloses any cognizable offence and proceed in accordance with law. If the above respondents fail to register the FIR, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the higher officials or to avail the remedies that are available under Cr.P.C."

There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
