THE HON'BLE DR.JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION NO.4832 OF 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed by the petitioners-A3 to A6 under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.11 of 2014 on the file of the Station House Officer, CID Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 506 IPC and 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the State and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that there are specific allegations against the petitioners to proceed with the investigation of the case. Though the crime was registered in the year 2014, there is no progress in the investigation.

In view of the circumstances narrated, the Station House Officer/Investigating Officer concerned is directed to complete the investigation within 4 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
