The Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy and The Hon'ble Smt. Justice T.Rajani Family Court Appeal No.37 of 2017 Date: 07.02.2017 Between:

Pyda Giridhar ... Appellant and Pyda Sriharsha Nihanth

...Respondent

Counsel for the Appellant:

Mrs.M.Swarupa Rani for Mr.Ch.Sathish Kumar The Court made the following:

CVNR, J & TR, J FCA.No.37 of 2017 Dt: 07.02.2017 Judgment: (Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Family Court Appeal (FCA) is filed by the father of the respondent, who, even on his own showing, is drawing not less than Rs.60,000/- towards monthly salary. The Family Court awarded a pittance of Rs.8,000/- towards monthly maintenance of the respondent. Further, as his luck would have it, the appellant was directed to pay maintenance from the year 2015 instead of from 2012 i.e., the year of filing the petition. Instead of being satisfied with the same, the appellant has filed this FCA, which, in our opinion, is highly vexatious.

Being the father, the responsibility lies on the appellant to maintain his son. In the light of the same, we do not find any reason to interfere with the order of the lower Court. Therefore, this Appeal is dismissed, however, with the observation that dismissal of this FCA would not prevent the respondent from filing an Appeal, if he is dissatisfied with the quantum of compensation awarded in his favour.

As a sequel to dismissal of the FCA, FCAMP.No.52 of 2017, filed by the appellant for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous. ______________________ (C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy, J) ___________ (T.Rajani, J) Dt: 7th February, 2017 lur
