HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO WRIT PETITION No.22114 OF 2010 ORDER:

The petitioners seek writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent in deducting the crop insurance premium from the loan amounts to be disbursed to the petitioners as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India and issue consequential direction not to deduct any crop insurance premium from the loans disbursed to the petitioners and to pass such other order.

When the matter is called, learned counsel for petitioners submits that the subject matter in the writ petition has become infructuous since the relief sought for in the present writ petition is pertaining to the crop period of the year 2010, which was over long back.

Recording the said submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
