The learned counsel for the writ petitioner had filed a letter dated 003.02.2016 before the Registry stating that the writ petitioner is intending to withdraw the writ petition as the Endowment Department is willing to compromise the matter in case the writ petition is withdrawn and that the writ petitioner intends to reserve his right to seek restoration of the writ petition in the event of failure of the proposed compromise. In view of the contents of the above letter filed before the Registry, the Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, in this writ petition shall also stand dismissed.
