This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of the Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.5898 of 2018 (in Crime No.328 of of Medipally Police Station, Rachakonda Commissionerate) on the file of III Metropolitan Magistrate, L.B. Nagar, Ranga Reddy District.

charge sheet came to be filed against the petitioners/A.1 to A.7 for the offences punishable under Sections 324 and 498-A of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Though the present Criminal Petition is filed seeking quashing of entire proceedings against the petitioners, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking dispensation of the presence of the petitioners before the trial Court on every date of adjournment.

The learned Public Prosecutor submits that since the identity of the petitioners is not in dispute, their presence in the above C.C. may not be necessary on every date of adjournment.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the personal appearance of the petitioners/A.2 to A.7 in C.C.No.5898 of 2018 (in Crime No.328 of 2018 of Medipally

GSD, J Crl.P.No.4727 of 2019 Police Station, Rachakonda Commissionerate) on the file of III Metropolitan Magistrate, L.B. Nagar, Ranga Reddy District. is hereby dispensed with while permitting them to mark their appearance through their counsel, except on the dates when their presence is specifically required by the said Court. However, A.1 shall appear in the above C.C. on every date of hearing.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
