ORDER

Heard learned Government Pleader for Irrigation & Command Area Development appearing for the petitioners and Sri A.K.Jaya Prakash Rao, learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent.

This writ petition is filed challenging the Award dated 9.5.1997 passed in I.D.No.148 of 1993.

The 1st respondent-workman was initially engaged as a Helper in the erstwhile A.P.State Construction Corporation, Nagarjuna Sagar Left Canal Unit, Khammam and his services were disengaged on 6.8.79.

Challenging the said disengagement, the 1st respondent filed I.D.No.148 of 1993 before the Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Warangal, which by its order dated 9.5.1997 directed the petitionerCorporation to reinstate the 1st respondent into service with continuity of service, but without back wages. Learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent submits that W.P.No.7680 of 1998 was filed by the petitioners herein against the Award passed in I.D.No.147 of 1993 and the same was dismissed by this Court on 4.8.2005. The said

submission was not deni12ed by the learned Government Pleader.

Since connected batch of writ petitions pertaining to the workmen were dismissed by this Court, I do not see any ground to interfere with the order passed by the Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed following the order dated 4.5.2008 passed in W.P.No.7680 of 1998. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
