THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.28910 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India is filed questioning the inaction of the 3rd respondent in taking appropriate steps by altering section of law against the 4th respondent for drunken driving, which resulted in a gruesome accident involving his father on 16.7.2016. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader informed that the Section of law is already altered to Section 304(II) IPC.

In view of the submission of the learned Government Pleader, no orders need to be passed in this writ petition and the same is accordingly closed. No costs.
