O R D E R

The claim of the petitioner is that he is the absolute owner and possessor of the subject land. He filed application through on-line on 16.11.2016 before the 4th respondent - Tahsildar for mutation of his name in the revenue records. Aggrieved by the inaction of the 4th respondent in considering the said application, the present writ petition has been filed.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of the learned counsel, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission directing the 2nd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 16.11.2016 for mutation of his name in the revenue records and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
