THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.8758 OF 2016 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code (for short " Cr.P.C." ) to quash the proceedings in Crime No.73 of 2017 of Women Police Station, Warangal City registered for the offences punishable under Sections498-A, 342, 506 of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act on various grounds.

According to the learned Public Prosecutor for the State of Telangana, the entire investigation is completed and charge sheet was filed before the I Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Warangal on 30.05.2017. Therefore, the question of quashing the proceedings in the F.I.R. does not arise in view of filing of charge sheet. Hence, the criminal petition is dismissed negating the relief to quash the proceedings while permitting the petitioners to renew their request if advised to quash the proceedings in charge sheet.
