THE HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No. 6492 of 2021 ORDER:

The present Criminal Petition is filed seeking reduction of the surety amount from Rs.25,000/- to Rs.10,000/-.

Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the record. As seen from the record, by an order, dated 14.06.2021 passed in Crl.M.P.No.1666 of 2021 in Crime No.2344 of 2020 of Cyber Crimes, CCS, DD, Hyderabad, the XII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, granted statutory bail to the petitioners under Section 167 (2) of Cr.P.C. and enlarged them subject to execution of personal bond for Rs.25,000/- each with two sureties for a like sum each. Seeking reduction of the said surety amount, the petitioners filed Crl.M.P.No.2232 of 2021 before the V Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad. By an order, dated 11.08.2021 the learned Sessions Judge modified the same from Rs.25,000/- each with two sureties to Rs.25,000/- each with one surety.

Learned Counsel for the petitioners would submit that though the bail was granted in the month of June, 2021, till date the petitioners are unable to furnish the sureties for such amount due to their poor financial capacity. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the surety amount is reduced from Rs.25,000/- to Rs.15,000/- each with one surety for the like sum. The other conditions imposed by the Court below shall remain unaltered.
