Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents 1 to 5. 2.

Petitioner alleges that her husband was the pattadar and possessor of land to an extent of Acs.4.39 guntas in Survey No.280/8 of Kukunoor Revenue Village and Mandal, West Godavari District. She alleges that pattadar passbook and title deeds were issued in favour of her husband. Petitioner further alleges that respondents 6, 7 and other family members executed family partition document on 13.10.2004 and herself and her husband were allotted Acs.5.00 of land in the above said survey number and in Survey No.587 of Lankalapalli Village towards their share and maintenance. Thereafter, husband of petitioner executed Will dated 10.04.2009 bequeathing his rights in land in Survey No.280 to an extent of Acs.5.00 in favour of petitioner. She alleges that after death of her husband on 08.02.

2011, she made application seeking mutation of her name in the revenue records and for issuance of pattadar passbook and title deeds under the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971. The said application, dated 07.03.2018, was received by Mee-seva and a receipt to that effect was issued to the petitioner. Alleging inaction on the said application, this Writ Petition is filed.

Since it is contended by the petitioner that she made application before the Tahsildar and the same is pending before

him, the Tahsildar, Kukunoor Village and Mandal, West Godavari District, the 4th respondent, is directed to examine the claim of the petitioner as ventilated in her application and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, filed in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
