THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.V.BHASKAR REDDY Contempt Case No.1661 of 2015 ORDER:

This contempt Case is filed alleging violation of orders dated 27.08.2014 passed by this Court in W.P.No. 23487 of 2014. By the aforesaid order, this Court disposed of the writ petition directing the Municipal Authorities to consider the respective applications of the petitioners for grant of building permission in the plots purchased by them in the HUDA sanctioned layout in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. This contempt case is pending from 2015 and cognizance was not taken under the provisions of the Contempt of Courts Act.

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Therefore, this Court is of the considered view that the petitioner is not interested to pursue this contempt case.

In these circumstances, this contempt case is closed as no further orders are necessary. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner, if any cause survives, to file fresh application seeking revival of the contempt case in accordance with law.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this contempt case shall stand closed.
