THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.16933 of 2019 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed questioning the inaction on the part of the respondent police in not registering the crime. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the complaint was acknowledged by the respondent police on 17.08.2017, no action has been taken place against respondent Nos.4 to 7 so far. 4.

Learned Government Pleader for Home on written instructions, dated 13.09.2019, submits that basing on the complaint, dated 16.08.2017, given by the petitioner to the 3rd respondent-Station House Officer, Kakatiya University Police Station, an entry was made in General Diary and during the course of investigation, it is disclosed that the alleged incident did not take place and the said information was communicated to the petitioner on 09.09.2019 through registered post.

Learned Government Pleader also informs the Court that the copy of the said communication addressed to the petitioner would also be furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner. 6.

In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the communication, dated 09.09.2019, it is open for him to avail appropriate remedy in accordance with the provisions of law.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
