Jangaiah (for short, 'the alleged detenu'), husband of the petitioner, by declaring the detention order No.07/PD/CCRB/RKD/2017 dated 07.02.2017 passed by respondent No.2, and confirmed vide G.O.Rt.No.909 dated 12.04.2017 by respondent No.1, as illegal and arbitrary. 2.

At the hearing, Sri T. Nagarjuna Reddy, learned counsel appearing for Sri K. Surender, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that the detention period is going to expire today and, therefore, the cause in the writ petition does not survive. 3.

The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous. 4.

As a sequel to the disposal of the Writ Petition, W.P.M.P.No.20590 of 2017 shall stand closed.
