HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.5799 of 2017 ORDER:

The Writ Petition is filed making a grievance that, as against the abnormal demand of tax made by respondents, the petitioner had submitted a detailed explanation on 18.03.2016 and the same has not been considered till date. When the matter was listed on 20.02.2017, Sri P. Krishna Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent No.2 - Corporation, sought time. Today, learned Standing Counsel submits that specific objection, raised by the petitioner with respect to demand of tax, shall be considered in accordance with law, and a revised demand, if necessary, shall be issued.

Recording the submission made by Sri P.Krishna Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent No.2 - Corporation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. It is made clear that, till the objections of the petitioner are considered, the impugned demand shall not be enforced.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
