THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE P.KESHAVA RAO WRI T PETI TI ON NO.16960 OF 2019 ORDER: (per SK,J) The grievance of the petitioner is that the authorities are not revising his pension with effect from 01.01.2016 as per amended Rule 8 of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and conditions of Service of Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Members) Rules. He seeks a consequential direction to the parties to do so and pay him arrears along with interest thereon.

We find from the record that the petitioner made representation dated 03.04.2019 ventilating his grievance. This representation was made to the Registrar of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, at Hyderabad.

We are however informed by the learned Government Pleaders appearing for the State of Telangana and the State of Andhra Pradesh that a decision on the issue would have to be taken by the States jointly. They would further inform this Court that the Tribunal had already forwarded the petitioner's representation and the issue is seized of by the competent authorities at the State level.

As the competent authorities are yet to take a decision in the matter, we are of the opinion that it would be premature on our part to entertain this writ petition for adjudication. 5.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the State of Telangana and the State of Andhra Pradesh to take a joint decision on the

issue raised by the petitioner in his representation dated 03.04.2019. This exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event not later than three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
