Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to pursue mercy review petition preferred by him on 21.06.2019.

Permission as sought for is accorded.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to pursue mercy review petition preferred by him on 21.06.2019. However, it is needless to state that the respondent-Corporation shall consider and dispose of the same within a reasonable time. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, pending, if any, shall stand closed.
