ORAL ORDER:

Writ Petition No. 11665 of 2017 was disposed of by order dated 4.4.2017 directing the State of A.P., represented by Principal Secretary, Social Welfare Department to examine the representation of the petitioner dated 10.2.2017 and to pass appropriate orders as warranted by law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of the order. Alleging disobedience of the said directions, this contempt case is filed.

Along with the counter affidavit, first respondent enclosed copy of proceedings Memo No. 490068/SW.SCP.A1/2017 dated 20.7.2017, which is an order passed in consideration of the representation submitted by the petitioner in pursuant to the directions issued by this Court. In view of the same, it cannot be said that the respondents have disobeyed the orders of this Court warranting continuation of contempt proceedings. Accordingly, contempt case is closed. No costs.
