THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.25375 OF 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioners seeking the following relief - "...to issue an appropriate Writ, or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction on the part of the respondent No.2 in granting affiliation for establishment of Private Polytechnics in the fields of Agriculture and Agricultural Engineering for the academic year 2017-18 considering the applications No.9781 and 9782, dated 15.05.2017 submitted by the petitioner No.1 in pursuance of the Expression of Interest (EDD No.2038/Plytechnics, dated 14.04.2017 issued by the respondent No.2 and also the report of the Inspection Committee submitted in pursuance of the inspection done by it on 16.06.

2017 having granted the same in favour of the other applicants and also having initiated the admission process through the Admission Notice, dated 13.07.2017 as arbitrary, illegal, colorable exercise of power and violative of the fundamental rights guaranteed to the petitioner No.1 under Articles 14, 19 & 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondent No.2 to grant affiliation in favour of the petitioner No.1 for establishment of the petitioners No.2 and 3 college for the academic year, 201718 in the field fo Agriculture and Agricultural Engineering and pass such other order or orders as are deemed fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Gandam Bhaskar, learned standing counsel for the 2nd respondent - Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University.

Considering the relief which the petitioners seek i.e., consideration of their applications for grant of affiliation for establishment of private polytechnics in the fields of Agriculture and Agricultural Engineering for the academic year 2017-2018,

without expressing any opinion this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to process and consider the applications of the petitioners for grant of permission and affiliation for establishment of private polytechnic colleges in the fields of Agriculture and Agricultural Engineering for the academic year 2017-2018. It is made clear, necessary orders shall be passed within two weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
