Heard Mr.C.Raghu for petitioner and Mr.Sameer holding for Mr.M.Venkatanarayana.

The petitioner prays for the following relief: "..writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction directing the 1st respondent to consider Representation dt 24-10-2009 for extension of lease period for a further period of 3 years w. e. f. 1-2-2010 by applying the enhancement rate of 33 1/3% in relation to Shop No 6 Potti Sriramulu Municipal Complex, R R Road, Chirala, Prakasam District in the name of the petitioner.." The prayer is substantially against inaction of respondent No.1 in considering the representation of petitioner for continuing petitioner as lessee of 1st respondent on enhanced rate of rent for a period of three years starting from 2010. The period for which the inaction is complained is over. Therefore, this Court is of the view that consideration of the prayer for any other purpose does not arise. The writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
