THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.AMARNATH GOUD WRIT PETITION NO.2289 OF 2007 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed, seeking to declare the Notification issued under Section 4(1) of the Land Acquisition Act in reference No.F5/SW/414/06, dated 2.11.2006 proposing to acquire the petitioner's land in an extent of Ac.0.97 cents in Sy.No.102/3 situated at Oduru Village, Penumantra Mandal, West Godavari District under Indiramma Programme for providing house sites to Weaker Section People, as illegal and arbitrary. 2.

This Court granted interim stay inW.P.M.P.No.2932 of 2007, dated 8-02-2007, since then, the petitioner is uninterrupted possession and balance of convenience is in her favour. 3.

The Revenue Divisional Officer, Kovvur, addressed a letter dated 18-05-2015 to the Government Pleader for Land Acquisition, High Court of Judicature, Hyderabad, indicating that presently the scheme is not in force and the land is not required by the Government.

In view of the above letter, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents not to dispossess the petitioner from her land without following due process of law. No order as to costs. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending if any shall stand closed.
