HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A. RAMALI NGESWARA RAO Writ Petition Nos. 28158 of 2009 and 2562 of 2010 Common Order:

These two Writ Petitions are being disposed of by this common order, as they challenge the inaction of the respondents in not taking action against the unofficial respondents who are dispensing water without proper certificates.

The Writ Petitions were filed in the year 2009 and thereafter the State is bifurcated. Since the respective Governments might have taken several steps consequent to the bifurcation of State, liberty is given to the petitioners to submit fresh representation to the authorities pointing out the violations of the unofficial respondents, if any, and as and when such representation is received, the competent authority shall issue appropriate notices to the erring units and after considering the objections shall take necessary action in accordance with law, but no relief can be granted in the present Writ Petitions, in view of the subsequent developments. Both the Writ Petitions are, accordingly, closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions pending in these Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed.
