THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WP No.14616 of 2018 ORDER:

It is stated that against the impugned order dated 2912-2015 imposing a punishment of deferring annual increment with cumulative effect for a period of one year besides treating the period of suspension as not on duty, the petitioner has filed statutory appeal before the 2nd respondent and the same pending.

Heard the learned standing counsel for the respondent-Corporation.

Inasmuch as the petitioner has already availed the remedy of filing the appeal, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 11-05-2016 filed by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this case shall also stand disposed of. There shall no order as to costs.
