THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.9165 OF 2016 ORDER:

This criminal petition under Sections 437 and 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is filed by the petitioner/accused seeking bail in crime No.242 of 2015 on the file of the P.S., Chandrayanagutta, Hyderabad City, registered for the offence under Section 302 IPC. Heard and perused.

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner, who is the father of the deceased, poured kerosene on the deceased and set her fire and as such, she died.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not committed any offence and he has been falsely implicated in the case. He prays this Court to grant bail to the petitioner. Considering the statement of the deceased in the Dying Declaration that the petitioner poured kerosene on her body and set her fire, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner herein.
