THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.10100 OF 2017 ORDER:

Disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner resulted in removal from service. Challenging the same, the petitioner raised I.D.No.56 of 1999 before the Labour Court - I, Hyderabad. Award was passed on 07.03.2001 by the Labour Court setting aside the removal order and directing the respondent - Corporation to reinstate the petitioner into service with continuity of service, full back wages from 25.11.1998 till the date of reinstatement into service and with attendant benefits.

Challenging the said award, the respondent - Corporation filed W.P.No.2180 of 2002. By order dated 02.08.2011, the said Writ Petition was dismissed. After dismissal of the said Writ Petition, petitioner submitted representation dated 25.06.2016 for grant of consequential benefits as well as attendant benefits. Alleging inaction on the said representation, this Writ Petition is filed. 2.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel for the respondent - Corporation submit that since the petitioner submitted representation for grant of consequential and attendant benefits, a direction be issued to the respondents to dispose of the said representation.

Having regard to the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Depot Manager, Hyderabad - II Depot, Hyderabad, the 3rd respondent, to examine the claim of the petitioner as ventilated in his representation, dated 25.06.2016,

and pass appropriate orders duly taking note of the award passed by the Labour Court in I.D.No.56 of 1999, dated 07.03.2001, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
