Petitioner claims to be the absolute owner of Ac.9-77 cents in Sy.Nos.445/2 and 446 of Dubacherla Village, Nallajerla Mandal, West Godavari District. She states that she made an application on 13.11.2014 to the respondent authorities for providing 30 HP motor service connection to the bore-well existing in Sy.No.445/2. She further states that pursuant to payment of the required amount, 40 KV transformer was installed and power connection was given and trial test was also conducted on 20.03.2015. However, the electricity meter is not fixed in spite of entire infrastructure being ready. Thus, alleging inaction on the part of the respondents, she filed the present writ petition.

Mr. P. Anand Seshu, learned Standing Counsel for APEPDCL, states that appropriate action will be taken for fixing the meter and releasing power supply to the service connection of the petitioner.

In view of the above, since the entire infrastructure is stated to be ready, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondents 3 to 6 to take appropriate further steps by fixing the electricity meter and releasing power supply to the petitioner's bore-well in the aforesaid land, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
