HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO Criminal Petition No.5610 of 2015 ORDER:

This criminal petition is filed by the petitioner/accused No.2, under sections 437 and 439 Cr.P.C., seeking bail in C.C. No.69 of 2010 on the file of First Class Judicial Special Magistrate-cum-Excise Court, Erramanzil, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 3 and 4 of Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act.

The petitioner is absent from the court for the last five years. Even though it is informed that she is not aware of the transfer of the case from one court to another, this Court is of the view that such absence is totally unacceptable. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/accused No.2 at this stage. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to renew the bail application after fifteen days.
