THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.23888 of 2016 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) The applicant in OA No.1157 of 2016 on the file of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad, is before this Court assailing the order dated 24.03.2016 passed therein relegating her to the alternative remedy of appeal and dismissing her original application. The issue raised before the Tribunal was with regard to the seniority list of the Deputy Tahsildars of Zone-V. The petitioner/applicant raised her objections to the notified seniority list under her letter dated 01.02.2016 and the same was rejected by proceedings dated 08.03.2016 of the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Telangana, Hyderabad.

Faced with a challenge to this proceeding, the Tribunal was of the opinion that as an efficacious alternative remedy is available to the petitioner/applicant under the statute, it would be appropriate that she invoke the same in the first instance. We find no reason to interfere with this exercise of discretion by the Tribunal.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner/applicant to raise all issues available to her in law before the appellate authority.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
