THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN WRIT PETITION NO.17042 OF 2008 ORDER:
The petitioner, an assignee of an extent of Ac.0.35 cents of land, has invoked the jurisdiction of this Court questioning the action of the respondents in interfering with her possession. Sri S.Satyanarayana Prasad, learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, would submit that without any notice being issued, either for cancellation of assignment or for resumption of land, respondents were seeking to interfere with the petitioner's possession.
Learned Government Pleader for Revenue (Assignment) would submit that, any action which the respondents may take would be strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977 and the Rules made thereunder.
Recording the submission of the learned Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending shall stand dismissed.
