Heard.

From the caste certificated issued by the Tahsildar in Annexure-II as contemplated statutorily the petitioner/accused Nos.1, 2 & 5 of crime No.85 of 2017, Rajupalem Police Station, Kadapa District, are SCs. Thereby, the provisions of the SC & ST (POA) Act have no application to them, but for the IPC offences covered by the crime.

With these observations, the Criminal Petition is disposed of and the petitioners to submit the said caste certificates to the I.O. to consider the same as part of investigation.
