ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "...to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction preferably one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus and to declare the action of the respondents by keeping the petitioner under suspension vide impugned proceedings No.H.R/2018-2019, dated 24.04.2019 of the 4th respondent, without any application of mind on the sole ground that the petitioner was not attended meeting on 22.04.2019, the petitioner kept under suspension is highly illegal, arbitrary, unreasonable, discriminatory and also in violation of principles of natural justice and also in violation of Art 14, 16 and 21 of the constitution of India and declare the same as bad in law and set aside the same and consequently direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service as a Filed Assistant at Devarakadra Grampanchayat, Devarakadra Mandal, Mahaboobnagar District and with all consequential benefits and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit, just and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Heard Sri C.Raja Sekhar Reddy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj appearing for respondent Nos. 1 to 3, Smt Padma Rekha, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent No.4 and Sri G.Narender Reddy, learned counsel appearing for the 5th respondent.

It is the case of the petitioner that he was appointed as a Field Assistant in the year 2006 and he is discharging his duties as such to the satisfaction of his superiors. While so, due to his ill health, he could not attend the meeting held on 22.04.2019. The respondents have construed the same as misconduct and placed him under suspension vide order dated 24.04.2019. Hence, the petitioner submitted his explanation on 14.05.2019 and also representation on 16.06.2019. But, so far, no orders have been passed thereon. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the respondents be directed to consider the representation dated 16.06.2019 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 4th respondent submits that the respondents would consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.06.2019 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

Having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.06.2019 and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a

period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
