THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:

This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "... to issue an order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the impugned order in Ref.G.1478/2011, dt.30.6.2011 passed by the 2nd respondent herein suspending the authorization of the fair price shop No.25 of Srungavaram Village, Rowthulapudi Mandal, East Godavari District, as illegal, arbitrary, unjust and contrary to law. Consequently to direct the respondents herein to restore the dealership
authorization of the petitioner by setting aside the impugned orders." At the hearing, Mr. Chidagam Srinivas, learned counsel, representing Mr. S.A. Razack, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that recently the petitioner died.
As the dispute pertains to suspension of the petitioner's fair price shop dealership, with the death of the sole petitioner, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.
Hence, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, the interim order dt.11.7.2011 shall stand vacated and W.V.M.P. No.4824 of 2011 and W.P.M.P. No.23197 of 2011 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
