O R D E R

This contempt case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 11.03.2016 passed by this Court in W.P.No.7987 of 2016. By the said order, this Court directed the police authorities to abide by the directions of the Supreme Court in LALITA KUMARI V/s. GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH1.

It is now stated by Sri Syed Khader Mastan, learned counsel for the petitioner, that the Station House Officer, L.B.Nagar Police Station, Cyberabad, issued communication dated 25.09.2016 informing the petitioner as to why he could not initiate any action upon his complaint.

In that view of the matter, the order passed by this Court stands duly complied with. If the petitioner has any grievance with the communication dated 25.09.2016, it is for him to seek redressal thereof before the appropriate forum in accordance with law. Reserving liberty to the petitioner to do so, the Contempt Case is closed. No order as to costs.
