THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.23461 OF 2016 O R D E R:

Petitioner's grievance is that in the marks sheet issued by the 2nd respondent to the petitioner showing the marks he obtained in the Class X examination, the petitioner's surname is wrongly mentioned. The petitioner seeks correction of the surname in it.

2. The Government Pleader for School Education appearing for respondents 1 and 2 states that if the petitioner makes a representation to the 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent will consider the same and take appropriate action.

3. In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to make a representation to the 2nd respondent within two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order regarding the mention of wrong surname in the X Class marks list issued by the 2nd respondent, enclosing a copy of the Transfer Certificate issued to the petitioner by Sri Swamy Vivekananda English Medium High School, Nagarigutta, Pulivendula, YSR Kadapa. On receipt of such representation, the 2nd respondent shall take appropriate action within four (04) weeks of such representation and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

4. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
