This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, 'Cr.P.C'), is filed by the petitioner/Accused seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.144 of 2017 of Begumpet Police Station, Hyderabad. 2.

On written instructions, dated, 02.07.2019, learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the police after completion of investigation in the aforesaid crime, referred the same as "Lack of Evidence" on 19.04.2018 as per the proceedings of the Additional Commissioner of Police, Crimes. 3.

In that view of the matter, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this petition shall stand closed.
