THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO Writ Petition No.16999 of 2019 ORDER:

Petitioner claims to be the owner and in possession of the land to an extent of Ac.9.33 gts., in Sy.No.277/C, 25, 277 and 277/A situated at Mahabubabad Village and Mandal.

Having purchased the same through a registered sale deed of the year 2009, petitioner claims that after purchasing the said extent of land, he applied for mutation of his name in the Revenue records for issuance of Pattadar Pass Book and title deeds through online. The copy of the receipt issued by the Telangana State Online on 17.08.2017 is enclosed as Ex.P.3. 3.

Thereafter, the petitioner also made representations but there is no response so far. Alleging inaction in considering his application for mutation is challenged in this writ petition. 4.

As averred by the learned counsel for the petitioner about the application made through online web portal for mutation, without going into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 5th respondent, Tahsildar, to consider the request of the petitioner for mutation of his name in the Revenue records to the extent of the land he is claiming, by following due procedure as required by the Act, 1971 and in the Rules made there under, expeditiously, preferably, within a period of two months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
