ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioner/accused seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.163 of 2015 of Krosuru Police Station, Guntur District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 353 and 506 IPC, against him.

2. It is alleged in the complaint that the accused, who is the Ex-Chairman of A.P.Home Guards, was repeatedly visiting the office of the de facto complainant-Tahsildar, creating nuisance, obstructing them to discharge their official duties and also threatened them that he would file an atrocity case against them. Based on the complaint, the aforesaid crime was registered against the accused.

3. Heard and perused the material on record.

4. Truth or otherwise of the allegations made against the petitioner cannot be decided at this stage. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. However, the concerned police are directed to complete the investigation without arresting the petitioner/accused and file a final report, if any.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
