HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.18201 of 2014 ORDER :

This writ petition is filed challenging the seizure of Auto bearing No.AP 28Y 4930 along with 7.50 quintals of rice by conducting panchanama on 13.06.2014, as null and void. 2.

In respect of the said seizure, proceedings were initiated under Section 6-A of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 in M.C.No.104 of 2014 before the Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate, Khammam District, who passed final order dated 21.12.2016.

In view of the said final order dated 21.12.2016, no further enquiry can be made in the present writ petition and the cause in the writ petition has become infructuous. 4.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Interim order dated 02.07.2014 shall stand vacated. However, it is open for the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceedings in accordance with law, in respect of the order dated 21.12.2016 in M.C.No.104 of 2014, if he so chooses.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
