Alleging that 4th respondent is interfering with the civil dispute and threatening the petitioners to vacate the subject property and handover the same to one Rama Veera Swamy family, and to settle the civil dispute, and that he is not registering the crime pursuant to the report lodged by the petitioners, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of 4th respondent - Sub Inspector of Police, Matwada Police Station, Warangal Commissionerate, stating that one Sri Rama Veeraswamy, son of Kichaiah, resident of Warangal, lodged a complaint on 20.1.2018 and a case in Crime No.
17 of 2018 was registered on the file of Mathwada Police Station, Warangal City, against the petitioners, for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 427, 323, 506 read with 34 IPC and taken up the investigation. Similarly based on the complaint of the petitioners, a case in Crime No.136 of 2018 was registered, and investigation is taken up. The allegations of the petitioners with regard to interfering in civil dispute and threatening them to vacate the subject property and to settle the civil dispute is denied.
Recording the above statement of the 4th respondent, the writ petition is disposed of.
It is needless to observe that police shall not interfere with the civil dispute. However, this order will not preclude the 4th respondent from proceeding with the investigation in accordance with law. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
