Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader of Home.

Since this Court is not adjudicating the matter on merits, it may not be necessary to issue notice to the unofficial respondent. The present writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, with the following prayer: 'For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, the petitioner herein prays that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order or direction declaring the action of the respondents more particularly respondent Nos.3 and 4 in interfering with the civil dispute in respect of O.S.No.143 of 2015 on the file of the Court of Senior Civil Judge, Adoni and harassing the petitioner as illegal, arbitrary and without jurisdiction and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere with the civil dispute O.S.No.143 of 2015 on the file of the Court of Senior Civil Judge, Adoni and pass such other order or orders which are necessary in the interest of justice'.

The grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.3 is interfering with the civil dispute and forcing him to withdraw the civil suit filed by him and summoning him to the police station repeatedly at the instance of respondent No.4. Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent - police authorities not to summon the petitioner to the police station without following due process of law.
