THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 597 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed challenging the action of respondent No.3 in not permitting the petitioner to engage an Advocate in the departmental enquiry.

This Court initially granted stay of further proceedings for a period of two weeks on 27.01.2016 and it was extended by one more week on 11.02.2016. Seeking vacation of the said order, WVMP No.454 of 2016 was filed by the respondents in the writ petition.

When the matter was taken up for consideration on 22.08.2016, it is represented by the learned counsel for the respondents that in respect of one charge sheet, enquiry was completed and in respect of another charge sheet, enquiry is pending. Learned counsel for the petitioner did not appear on that day. Today also, when the case is taken up, none appears for the petitioner.

In the circumstances, the writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ________________________ A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO,J Dt:19.09.2016 kdl
