HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 10511 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioner/A.4 seeks to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 8 of 2013 of Vemsoor Police Station, Khammam District, which was registered for the offences under Sections 447 & 379 IPC and Section 3 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 14.06.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Vemsoor Police Station, Khammam District and submitted that in this case investigation was completed and charge sheet was filed on 22.6.2013 before the Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Sathupally and C.C is numbered and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 8 of 2013 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
